When submitting reports or content to BlacklistAlert, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and factual information based on your genuine experiences;
• Include relevant evidence and documentation where available;
• Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content;
• Not use the platform for personal vendettas, harassment, or competitive sabotage;
• Respect the privacy of individuals by not sharing unnecessary personal information;
• Not include content that is obscene, threatening, or violates any laws.

All submitted content may be reviewed by our moderation team before publication. We reserve the right to edit, remove, or decline to publish any content that violates these guidelines.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Submitting false or fabricated fraud reports;
• Impersonating another person or entity;
• Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Service;
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas;
• Harvesting or collecting user data without authorization;
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers;
• Using the Service for any illegal purpose;
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
• Engaging in spam, phishing, or other deceptive practices;
• Attempting to manipulate or inflate report counts or statistics.

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are owned by BlacklistAlert and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to the Service, you grant BlacklistAlert a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.

BlacklistAlert does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
• The information provided by users is accurate, complete, or reliable;
• Any defects will be corrected;
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLACKLISTALERT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data;
• Business interruption;
• Cost of substitute services;
• Any damages arising from user-submitted content;
• Reliance on information obtained through the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to BlacklistAlert in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BlacklistAlert and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party rights;
• Any content you submit to the Service;
• Your negligent or wrongful conduct.

If you have a dispute about a listing or report, please contact our support team first. We will work with all parties to resolve disputes fairly and promptly.

Any disputes not resolved through our internal process shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against BlacklistAlert.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
